Congresswoman DeLauro to introduce “Youth Vaping Prevention Act”

There is a new effort to end the vaping epidemic among teenagers.

Congresswoman Rosa DeLauro is set to introduce the “Youth Vaping Prevention Act.” It would close the current federal tax loophole on e-cigarettes, restrict kid-friendly flavors and crackdown on marketing techniques used to attract underage customers.

DeLauro is also set to unveil an upcoming collaboration with schools to prevent teenagers from using tobacco products.

DeLauro will be at the Celentano Biotech, Health and Medical Magnet School at 400 Canner Street in New Haven.
