Connecticut NAACP to Honor 100 Black Leaders Saturday

The Connecticut Conference of the NAACP will recognize 100 African-American state leaders Saturday, including News 8’s very own Keith Kountz. 

The sold-out reception will take place at the Tower Premier Ballroom of Foxwoods. The men and women being honored ranges from a variety of different professions including: engineers, college administrators, elected officials, members of the media, police chiefs, court judges and teachers, just to name a few. 

Following the awards reception, Bell Biv Devoe and Bobby Brown will take the stage for a special performance. The concert is scheduled to begin at 8:00pm.
