Connecticut one of several states attempting to block Trump from diverting funds for border wall

Connecticut is joining 20 other states in an attempt to block President Trump from diverting funds and resources to construct a wall at the US Mexico Border.

Connecticut Attorney General William Tong filed the motion claiming the President’s plan to divert
$1.6 billion is “Unlawful” and “Unconstitutional”.

The motion states the funding is meant for law enforcement, drug interdiction and military construction projects.
