14 members of Hartford Archdiocese receive honors from the Pope

The Archdiocese of Hartford celebrated 175 years on Sunday evening.

As a part of the ceremony, 14 members of the Archdiocese received Papal Honors from Pope Francis for their outsanding work serving others in Connecticut.

Pauline Olsen is a doctor from Farmington is one of the Papal Honors recipients. She said, “I was just flabbergasted….I couldn’t believe it. I can’t express how honored I feel.”

Olsen was honored for her charity work serving the hungry and poor.
