42 new troopers join the Connecticut State Police

A brand new group of state troopers will soon hit the streets of Connecticut.

42 new troopers graduated from the State Police Academy on Thursday. They’ve been training there for the past seven months.

The 37 men and five women were given their badges Thursday and took the oath of office.

They will now report to their assigned troops to complete field training.
