Just about everyone loves summer, but for young drivers, we are entering the deadliest time of year.
Friday marks the beginning of AAA‘s 100 Deadliest days, the period between Memorial Day and Labor Day where teenage drivers are most likely to be hurt or killed in crashes.
AAA says the risk of death is about 17 percent higher than other times of the year.
They blame speeding, driving under the influence, and distractions behind the wheel.
