Cheyenne flutist from Connecticut to be inducted into New England Music Hall of Fame


Conn. (WTNH) — Connecticut native Joseph FireCrow is being honored for Native American Heritage Month.

The late world-renowned Cheyenne flutist from Winsted will be inducted into the New England Music Hall of Fame in November.

The objective of the event is to unite both indigenous and non-indigenous people harmoniously through music.

FireCrow’s album “Cheyenne Nation” was nominated for a Grammy in 2001.
