Comcast opens dozens of CT WiFi hotspots to all following storm

Comcast has announced it is opening its Xfinity WiFi hotspots in areas of Connecticut and New York following Tuesday’s storm.

The company said on Wednesday that anyone, including non-Comcast subscribers, can access the hotspots while clean up efforts continue.

Hotspots in the following locations have been made available for anyone to use:

  • Ansonia
  • Bethany
  • Bethel
  • Branford
  • Canaan
  • Clinton
  • Danbury
  • Derby
  • East Haven
  • Guilford
  • Hamden
  • Madison
  • Middlebury
  • Naugatuck
  • New Haven
  • Norfolk
  • North Branford
  • North Canaan
  • North Haven
  • Northford
  • Old Saybrook
  • Oxford
  • Plymouth
  • Prospect
  • Ridgefield
  • Salisbury
  • Seymour
  • Sharon
  • Shelton
  • Waterbury
  • West Haven
  • Westbrook
  • Wolcott

Comcast said the hotspots will remain open through May 20th in the areas listed above.
