NEW HAVEN, Conn. (WTNH)- Sometimes being in the top ten in something is nothing to be happy about. Kiplinger’s Personal Finance has just released its list of the ten most and least tax-friendly states in the nation.
Connecticut made the list, in the third spot on the least tax friendly list. But, Kiplinger’s adds there are some positives to being on the most taxed list.
Typically those states with lower taxes also spend less on things like roads, bridges, schools and other public services. The only states above Connecticut on the most taxed list are California and Hawaii. Number one on the least tax list-the state of Wyoming.
