Connecticut receives federal extension of National Guard support until March

(WTNH) — The state of Connecticut is receiving a federal extension of the Connecticut National Guard’s COVID-19 support through March.

The White House approved the request on Thursday. The most recent authorization was set to expire Dec. 31.

The federal government will give the state a 75 percent cost share through March.
