CT lawmakers, officials hold press conference for Gun Violence Prevention Month

Connecticut lawmakers will get together on Wednesday to mark June as Gun Violence Prevention Month. 

U.S. Senators Chris Murphy and Richard Blumenthal, along with state representatives, are calling for a debate and vote on universal background check legislation.

The bill would expand federal background checks to the sale of all firearms by private sellers.
