CT troopers out in full force for holiday weekend

Beginning Wednesday morning, Connecticut State Police are ramping up their efforts to keep the highways and roads safe during the holiday rush.

For Thanksgiving and the others holidays fast approaching, expect more state troopers to be out in full force patrolling the roads.

Along with patrol, they will also be cracking down on drunk driving, speeding, overly aggressive drivers, and distracted drivers.

They would like to remind travelers to take it easy on the roads and drive safely, including keeping your cell phone out of reach to avoid distractions.
