$50,000 offered for information on 12-year-old Norwalk cold case

NORWALK, Conn. (WTNH) - Officials are reminding Norwalk residents that thousands of dollars are being offered to the person who can help police solve a 12-year-old cold case.

Norwalk police say Laray "Mookie" Moore was shot and killed in June, 2006.

Authorities say he was killed in Roodner Court on Ely Avenue. Officers previously stated that they believe his murder was retaliation for the murder of Fulton Raines which happened earlier that month.

On Wednesday, police announced that there is now a $50,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person who killed Moore.
