A major construction project in Stamford will once again impact traffic this weekend.
All lanes of I-95 will be closed in both directions near Exit 9.
Major delays are expected, and drivers are asked to avoid the area.

This is the second phase of the plan to replace a two-span bridge that carries Route 1 over I-95.
Detours will begin at 6:00 p.m. on Friday night, and the project is expected to be wrapped up by 5:00 a.m. on Monday.
