Fairfield firefighters and police responded to a two-vehicle accident late Wednesday night on Black Rock Turnpike.
According to the Fairfield Fire Department, firefighters responded to a motor vehicle accident on Wednesday night at 10:20 p.m. at 4680 Black Rock Turnpike in Fairfield.
Officials say police arrived on scene and confirmed two victims were trapped in a SUV vehicle and required extrication from the fire department. Another victim in a large pickup truck flipped on its side was unconscious and unresponsive, according to firefighters.
Fairfield firefighters rescued the victims involved. All three victims from both vehicles were transported a hospital with injuries.
The accident is still under investigation.
