Fire destroys two Stamford EMS Reserve Ambulances

The Stamford Fire and Rescue Department responded to a fire incident on Wednesday.

The Stamford EMS reserve ambulances were parked next to each other in the lot at the Stamford EMS Long Ridge Road headquarters.

Police say the cause of the fire might involve a mechanical malfunction in one of the ambulances but is still under investigation.

Stamford EMS service appears to function with normality and no injuries were reported.
