Three police officers and a police sergeant in Stamford have been forced off the job.
This comes after an internal affairs investigation found the four officers violated department rules.
The probe started back in March after the department noticed something fishy going on in the central hiring office.
The office manages hiring for extra duty jobs.
Stamford’s police chief says the officers could face criminal charges.
