NORWALK, Conn. (WTNH) — Norwalk police reported that two people were shot and killed Sunday afternoon after police investigated an ‘active and dangerous situation’ in the area of Chatham Drive.
Norwalk residents in the area of Chatham Drive were asked Sunday afternoon to shelter in place as police investigated, as there was an ‘armed subject’ in the area.
Police investigated a home on Chatham Drive, discovering two deceased people inside.
Police have identified the deceased people as Rajneesh Misra, 56, and Divya Misra, 55, who are husband and wife.
Police said one of the initials 911 callers was an adult son reporting the incident between the couple.
There is no longer a threat to the public. The shelter in place in the area of Chatham Drive was lifted Sunday evening.
