PD: Monroe man charged after breaking down ex-girlfriend’s door, attacking her in front of toddler

A Monroe man is locked up after being charged with breaking into his ex-girlfriend’s home and attacking her in front of her 2-year-old son. 

Police said 34-year-old Scott Ralston kicked down the door at the woman’s home in Shelton on Sunday and started beating her. 

The child was not hurt. 

Ralston is facing a list of charges, including home invasion and risk of injury. 

He was held on a $250,000 bond and is scheduled to appear in court on Tuesday.
