A 16-year-old boy from Stratford was arrested on Sunday following an incident at the 7-Eleven in Paradise Green and a second incident later on Main Street.

The investigation began when a victim’s car was allegedly  hit several times by the juvenile as he was entering the parking lot of the business.

Police said he confronted the victim and demanded money, threatening to assault him and take his car keys. After verbally harassing this individual, the juvenile suspect allegedly  entered the victim’s car in an attempt to steal items from inside.

The victim confronted him and the suspect climbed on top of the victim’s car before fleeing the area.

Officers located the suspect later that evening on Main Street while investigating a group of juveniles walking in the travel section of the road and  impeding the flow of traffic.

The suspect was immediately identified and arrested for the incident.

The juvenile was charged with criminal attempt at robbery and breach of peace.
