PD: West Haven man arrested for attempted murder in Norwalk

A West Haven man is facing charges after allegedly shooting another man in Norwalk.

According to police, on July 9, 2017, units responded to a shooting on Plymouth Avenue. Officers located a victim lying near the roadway with multiple gunshot wounds and transported him to Norwalk Hospital with serious injuries.

Following an investigation, police arrested 24-year-old Marquel Middleton and charged him with criminal attempt at murder, reckless endangerment in the first degree, and other related charges.

He is being held on a $500,000 bond.
