PD: Woman beaten, stabbed while taking out trash at Fairfield restaurant

FAIRFIELD, Conn. (WTNH) - A female employee at a Fairfield restaurant was beaten and stabbed when she took out the trash on Sunday night.
According to police, the incident happened at Paci Restaurant in the Southport section of town on Station Street around 9:30 p.m.
According to the Connecticut Post (https://bit.ly/2TKvT02), when the woman tried to escape, the attacker stabbed her in the stomach and then punched her in the face.
The victim said she did not recognize the suspect.
You know, it seems like such a no-brainer after a storm. You go outside, you shovel the driveway and sidewalk and, finally, you clear your car of snow and ice. Unfortunately, that's not always the case.
