According to officials, on Wednesday around 4:45 p.m., units responded to the intersection of Grove Street and Pine Street after receiving a report of a vehicle stopped in the intersection.
At the scene, police found 50-year-old Stefanie Warner-Grise sitting in the driver’s seat with her eyes closed.
While speaking with her, authorities said they could smell vanilla coming from her breath and that her speech was slurred.
Police found several empty bottles of pure vanilla extract inside of the vehicle, and Warner-Grise failed multiple sobriety tests.
She was then taken into custody and charged with operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol or drugs and was held on a $250 bond.
She is scheduled to appear in court on Thursday.
