Students all over the nation walked out of class to vote on Tuesday.

More than 25 youth-led activist groups joined together to launch the “Walkout to Vote” campaign.

The campaign encouraged students to leave their high schools to cast their ballots.

Young people at more than 500 high schools and colleges across the nation, including at Newtown High School, participated in this effort.
