NORWALK, Conn. (WTNH) — A school bus with children on board caught fire in Norwalk Thursday morning.
Five children and the bus driver were on the way to Silvermine School when the bus broke out in flames around 8:30 a.m., according to the fire department. Officials say everyone made it off the bus safely and no one was hurt.
The bus was fully engulfed in flames at the corner of Ely and Lexington Avenues when firefighters arrived on scene, officials say.
Fire officials are still working to figure out what started the fire.
