A man who grew to internet fame making online videos has been charged in Easton.
According to officials, 27-year-old Bryan Silva, also known as the “GraTaTa Guy,” has been charged with disorderly conduct.
Police said that units responded to a 911 call just before 3:00 a.m. Friday morning reporting a domestic incident.
At the scene, officials stated they observed a bleeding Silva closing a suitcase in a driveway.
When asked why he was bleeding, Silva said his wife “punched him in the mouth while he was sleeping.”
Police then spoke with his wife who admitted to drinking that night and was described as being “quite belligerent.” She stated that the two were in bed when he fell asleep and she started to go through his phone. She then claimed that she found evidence of him cheating on her and punched him.
Silva then allegedly woke up and punched her on top of the head and on the forehead.
Officers said they observed a small mark near her eye and a bump on the top of her head. She declined medical treatment.
Silva told police that he is on probation in Virginia and that he did not strike his wife. He added that she has previously threatened to kill him with her father’s gun.
Silva has a pass to visit his wife in Connecticut from Nov. 19th, 2018 until Nov. 27th, 2018.
He was charged with disorderly conduct. A $2,500 cash bond was set before he was instead released on a promise to appear in court.
