(WTNH) — More help is coming to help fight homelessness in the state.
Governor Ned Lamont has announced a $1.1 million grant to support the Connecticut Coalition to End Homelessness. The organization works to prevent people from ending up on the streets or in shelters.

The funding is coming from the Connecticut Department of Housing through its current operating budget.
