Firefighters responded to a three-story apartment building fire in Hartford Saturday night.

Crews extinguished the fire located on Chadwick Ave. Light damage was seen on the third floor of the apartment. Officials say everyone made it out of the building safely.

While there was no one injured from the fire, firefighters helped take a disabled male resident out of the second floor and say he was transported to the hospital for precautionary measure.

Fire Marshals are investigating for cause and origin of the fire.

Two people were displaced, according to the Hartford Fire Department.
