BRISTOL, Conn. (WTNH) — Two people were taken to a hospital for smoke inhalation following a house fire Thursday in Bristol, according to officials.
The two were able to evacuate when the house caught fire at about 4:30 p.m. at 164 Gridley St., according to firefighters.
Fire officials said the individuals taken to the hospital had minor injuries.
Crews were able to quickly put out the blaze. Officials are working to uncover what caused the fire.
