30-year-old man shot, killed in East Hartford home

Police are investigating after a 30-year-old man was shot and killed in East Hartford on Sunday evening. 

Police say that at around 5 p.m., officers responded to the home at 48 Suffolk Drive for an unresponsive man when they found Dominic Marino, of East Hartford, deceased. 

Detectives then responded to the scene where a further investigation indicated that Marino had been shot. 

The shooting remains under investigation at this time. Police say that this appears to be isolated incident and that there isn’t any danger to area residents or to the public.
