911 calls released from fatal shooting at Hartford basketball tournament

HARTFORD, Conn. (WTNH) — Hartford police have released 911 calls from a deadly shooting at a basketball tournament on Saturday.

Caller: “They are shooting at the park.”

911 Operator: “How many shots you hear ma’am?”

Caller: “Four.”

911 Operator: “Four, ma’am?”

Caller: “Yes.”

911 Operator: “Four, four shots. Did you see anything?”

Caller: “No I’m in the house. Oh my God.”

911 Operator: “From the park?”

Caller: “I’m so scared.”Full 911 Call:

James Headen, 41, was killed when he was shot in the head at the tournament on Holcomb Street near Rawson Elementary School. Roosevelt Holmes, 23, is charged in the incident.
