Animal rights groups rally against puppy mill industry in Glastonbury

GLASTONBURY, Conn. (WTNH) — Dozens of people in Glastonbury rallied against the puppy mill to pet shop industry.

They say municipalities should be able to regulate pet stores after several incidents in which pets allegedly needed to be taken to the vet just hours after purchase.

We’re told the demonstrators had public support at the rally, getting lots of waves and honks from people driving by.
