A Bloomfield man, who is considered dangerous, is now wanted on assault charges Monday.
According to officials, on Sunday morning, units responded to a home for a report of a son assaulting his father.
At the scene, authorities found a 60-year-old man who was unresponsive and bleeding heavily from the head.
Police said they learned that the suspect, 34-year-old Anthony Bussey, had been involved in a physical altercation with the victim.
Officers stated that the complainant was in the house’s basement when he heard what he thought was a fight and found the victim lying on the floor and bleeding heavily from the head.
Officials added that the suspect fled before police arrived.
Bussey is now wanted for assault on an elderly person.
The victim was transported to a local hospital where authorities learned that he had a broken arm and a skull fracture.
