Bristol police arrest suspect for criminal trespassing, possession of a weapon


Bristol officers were dispatched to Merriman Street on Tuesday for a report of a suspicious person in the area. 

According to the Bristol Police Department, two officers responded to a suspicious persons report at 11:07 p.m. Tuesday on at Merriman Street. 

Police found a man hiding in a shed that fit the description of the suspect they were searching for. Upon further investigation, the man was found to have two outstanding arrest warrants for violation of probation with a total ordered bond of $300,000. The suspect was also found to be in possession of a spring loaded knife.

Officers arrested the suspect Adrian Nadeau, 42, and was additionally charged with criminal trespass and carrying a dangerous weapon.
