HARTFORD, Conn. (WTNH) — Leaders in the Connecticut Senate on Thursday heard proposals on Thursday for how to make higher education more affordable in the state.
One bill would address access and affordability, with supporters arguing that it would lessen the burden of student loans. If passed, it would also provide resources to young professionals going into high-demand fields.
