Crews extinguish Jeep fire in East Hartford

Crews were called to a vehicle fire in East Hartford on Wednesday.

According to officials, a Jeep was on fire in the rear of a unit on Connecticut Boulevard.

Firefighters said there were no injuries and that the flames were contained before any damage was done to the building.

Crews used firefighting foam due to a fuel tank rupturing. DEEP was notified as a precaution.

The fire is currently under investigation.
