East Hartford FD: Several rescues made from apartment fire on Woodlawn Circle

EAST HARTFORD, Conn. (WTNH) — Firefighters responded to a fire on Woodlawn Circle in East Hartford early Monday morning.

In a tweet, the East Hartford Fire Department said arriving units were met with heavy fire from one unit of a four-unit apartment.

Firefighters on the scene said the call came in around midnight. They said a mother and her children live in the unit that caught fire but they got out quickly.

Firefighters said seven other residents also live in the building and got out too. No injuries were reported.
