Fire destroys Yankee Casting in Enfield

ENFIELD, Conn. (WTNH) — An Enfield business is destroyed after a fire broke out on Tuesday.

Enfield Firefighters were called to 243 Shaker Road on Tuesday morning for a working fire at Yankee Casting Co.

Firefighters were able to put the fire out and the building was left still standing.

On Tuesday night, the fire reignited and firefighters were called back to the scene. Enfield Fire PIO Mark Zarcaro says the fire has burnt a large section of the building.

There have been no reported injuries and the cause of the fire is still under investigation.
