Police say they received numerous 911 calls about a gray Dodge Challenger chasing a blue Nissan Altima through out the north end of the city around 10:20 a.m. before they caught up with the vehicle leading it to flee and crash near Homestead Avenue.

Police have charged 36 year old Carlos Clarke of Bloomfield with carrying a pistol without a permit, weapons in a motor vehicle, criminal possession of a firearm, criminal possession of ammo, reckless endangerment and reckless driving.
