Glastonbury police arrest officer impersonator

A man who police say was pretending to be one of them is behind bars on Friday. 

Police say they got a report of an unmarked police car pulling people over in Hartford.

They say with the help of Glastonbury police they tracked the suspicious car down to a house there. That’s where police arrested the suspect, 54-year-old Jade Dignoti.

After they searched his car they say they found a shotgun, live ammo, various police equipment and prescription drugs. Dignoti is being held on a $250,000 bond.
