Glastonbury PD on the hunt for 2 masked carjackers who stole Lexus from man at gas station

GLASTONBURY, Conn. (WTNH) — Glastonbury Police are on the hunt for two carjackers Wednesday.

Tuesday at 6:27 p.m., officers responded to a report of a Lexus being stolen from a victim at the Mobil gas station at the busy intersection at 2997 Main St.

Lt. Corey Davis of Glastonbury Police Department explained, “The victim reported two masked men pulled him out of his car after he stopped to make a donation at the clothes donation bin at the gas station. The men fled in his car as well as the car they arrived in.”

Police said no weapons were shown.

The stolen car was later found in Hartford but the thieves are still out there somewhere.

Glastonbury Police Department’s Auto Theft Team is investigating.
