Hartford firefighters battle blaze at Orange Street apt. complex

HARTFORD, Conn. (WTNH) — Hartford firefighters battled a blaze at an 8-unit building of an apartment complex on Orange Street in the city’s Parkville District Saturday.

Police said there were no reported injuries. The fire was contained quickly to one apartment on the first floor, firefighters said.

The fire marshal is looking into a cause of the fire.

The city’s special services unit is working with the affected families.
