A Hartford Hospital nurse charged with sexually assaulting a woman faced a judge for the first time on Thursday.
The victim claims 26-year-old Robert Tate forced her to have sex with him back in March.

She says she’s also pregnant with Tate’s baby and that he violated her restraining order against him in Massachusetts.
Tate, who is also a former West Hartford cop, is being held on $150,000 bond.
