A Hartford man is facing a number of charges for his alleged involvement in a drug-related shooting.

According to officials, on Monday, a federal grand jury in Hartford returned a four-count indictment charging 41-year-old Randy Parkman with robbery and firearm offenses.

According to officials, on May 22nd, Parkman shot and seriously wounded a person during a robbery at 149 Wethersfield Avenue. At the time, the location was being used by a drug trafficking organization.

Parkman was arrested on Oct. 22nd. A search of his residence allegedly revealed a revolver which had been reported as stolen from a vehicle in Hartford earlier that year.

His criminal history includes numerous felony convictions, making it a violation of federal law for him to possess a firearm or ammunition.

Parkman entered a plea of not guilty to the charges on Monday. He has been detained since being arrested.
