Hartford PD: Drugs, Firearm Found in Stolen Car

Hartford Police arrested two residents they say were driving around in a stolen vehicle with drugs and a firearm.

Detectives from the Vice & Narcotic divisions located an occupied stolen car traveling in the area of Washington Street and New Britain Avenue. 

Patrol officers assisted in stopping the vehicle. The occupants were taken into custody without further incident, according to police. 

Search of the vehicle discovered a firearm and narcotics. 

Police arrested Miguel Angel Garcia, 38 of Hartford, with charges ranging from larceny to traffic violations.

Jose Luis Colon, 40 of Hartford, was charged with weapons in a motor vehicle, possession of a weapon without a permit, and narcotics.
