Hartford PD: Gas leak near Vine Street, Albany Avenue repaired

HARTFORD, Conn. (WTNH) — Hartford first responders were dispatched to Vine Street for a gas line rupture Tuesday morning.

Around noon, Hartford PD tweeted that the gas line had been shut off and repaired, and that traffic in the area had reopened.

According to Hartford police, partial evacuations had been ordered just before 11 a.m. following the gas line rupture that has closed Vine Street between Mather Street and Albany Avenue.

No word on injuries or the cause of the incident.
