HARTFORD, Conn. (WTNH) — Two men face charges in the beating death of a 38-year-old Hartford man.

Police arrested Jaquan Devon Davis, 32, and Colin Campbell, 35, both of Hartford, and charged each with murder, criminal liability/murder and conspiracy to commit murder. Both are held on a $1.5 million bond.

Police said Antonio Tosado-Lopez, 38, was found in a parking area on Park Street around 2 a.m. Tuesday. He suffered blunt force injuries to his head and was likely beaten with fists and feet in what police believe was a targeted attack. He was taken to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

“We were able to recover some video that painted a pretty clear picture that this was a homicide as the result of an assault,” Hartford police Lt. Aaron Boisvert said.

Police said they identified the suspect vehicle within hours of the homicide and located it and the two suspects.

This is the city’s 31st homicide of the year.
