Hartford police investigate shooting

An adult male victim is recovering after he was shot in Hartford Friday evening.

Officers were dispatched just after 5:30pm to 375 Wethersfield Avenue after receiving an alert of 4 shots being fired from the city’s Shot Spotter system.

Police arrived and found a male victim shot in his shoulder. Officials say a bullet also grazed his leg, causing a wound. 

The man was transported for Hartford Hospital for non-life threatening injuries. Police say the victim is alert and stable. 

Hartford detectives continue to investigate.
