HARTFORD, Conn. (WTNH)– A school in Hartford is dismissing early on Monday due to a fuel spill.

According to Hartford Fire Chief Ortiz, Noah Webster Micro Society Magnet School, at 5 Cone Street, is dismissing students and staff early due to a fuel spill.

Chief Ortiz says that one of the lines let go which caused the spill. There was less than 10 gallons of fuel spilled and it has already been cleaned up.

There were no injuries reported but the strong odor caused the school administrators to send students home.

Students are expected to be back in school on Tuesday.
