Heavy rain causes flooding, evacuations, road closures in Enfield

ENFIELD, Conn. (WTNH) — Heavy rain all day Friday has caused some major flooding in parts of the state.

In Enfield, police tell News 8 a few streets are closed due to the flooding: Freshwater Boulevard, Lynch Terrace (the south side).

Three homes have been evacuated on Lynch Terrace.

There are also reports of flooding on John Street; road closures are expected there, as well.
